Job summary

CVS Health in Abilene, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and compassionate care. In this role you will assist with immunizations, inventory, and daily workflow while maintaining rigorous standards and patient focus.

You may travel within the market stores as needed, complete required training, and work to ensure a positive patient experience while upholding store SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and licensure rules.
• If no minimum age is set, candidate must be at least 16.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, be friendly.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate tablets, days supply, and fill prescriptions.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions.
• Physical Demands: capable of mobility and lifting up to 20 lbs; endure standing for long periods.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
