Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service. You will follow SOPs, assist with inventory, and help immunization services where allowed.

You will complete required state registrations and training, comply with privacy and security standards, and travel to stores in the market as needed. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires a high school

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, incl. licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and ensure label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with care and empathy
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues clearly
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and dispense quantities
• Problem Resolution: resolve patient or colleague issues
• Physical Demands: mobile and capable of lifting up to 20 lbs
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Following SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Deliver immunizations and other services where legally permitted
