Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in our retail stores. The technician will support the pharmacy team, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and provide compassionate customer service.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety.
• Customer service and team orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner, and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Communication skills: interact with patients and colleagues using verbal and written communication.
