Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician in Charlottesville, VA to support pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional patient care. You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and participate in immunization and testing services where allowed by law.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, performing inventory tasks, aiding in safe medication handling, and maintaining strong customer interactions while upholding privacy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• Minimum age 16 if state board does not mandate a lower age.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment in a program.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, returns-to-stocks and cycle counts as directed.
• Deliver empathetic customer service and help patients at pickup, drive-thru, and phone.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market when needed.
