Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists, ensuring safe, accurate prescriptions and a caring customer experience in our North Carolina stores. You will assist with pharmacy operations, patient interactions, and SOP adherence to help deliver quality health services.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws.
• Minimum age 16 where required by the state.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists by following SOPs to manage patient health.
• Follow workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Collaborate with the team and be open to feedback to improve care.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver immunizations and point-of-care testing where permitted and trained.
