Job summary

King Soopers, part of The Kroger Co., seeks a pharmacy clerk in Colorado to deliver strong customer service and support health and wellness services while upholding safety and ethics. You will handle reception tasks, data entry, and product dispensing with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include inventory control, billing procedures, HIPAA compliance, and assisting pharmacists. A high school diploma or GED and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations and programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Understand and perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
• Follow guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements and supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Complete billing procedures to ensure best value to customer and company.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgement.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
