Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification is required.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and technical functions for the pharmacist.
• Types labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription information.
• Perform cashier function including end of day processing and bank deposits.
• Participate in patient drug assistance program processing.
• Participate in internal quality improvement programs.
• Interact with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Communicate with insurance companies, drug program representatives and any third parties that are deemed necessary.
