Grand Peaks is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Idaho Falls Clinic Pharmacy to support patient care by preparing and dispensing medications while assisting patients and healthcare professionals. The role emphasizes accurate records, inventory management, and teamwork.

Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required. Schedule includes Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-6:00 PM with one weekday off, four 10-hour shifts per week, and rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six months of retail or hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong organizational, computer, and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications as ordered by providers, under pharmacy supervision.
• Respond to medication refill requests and assist patients and healthcare professionals with pharmacy needs.
• Enter prescription and inventory data, maintain stock, and assist with inventory counts.
• Follow medication safety, disposal, sharps handling, and pharmacy compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
