Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
• Understand HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirements
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms, resources, and applications
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service and health/wellness services as allowed by state/federal laws
• Assist pharmacist with dispensing and reception duties
• Maintain confidential information and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Support clerks/technicians, assist with training
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are met
• Diligently complete data entry and product adjudication tasks
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings where permitted by regulations
