Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure is required for the role.
• Desired: prior pharmacy technician experience or equivalent.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgement.
• Provide direct patient health and wellness services where allowed by law.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches records and data.
• Compound medications per state rules and regulations and conduct CLIA-waived screenings as allowed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
