Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist and pharmacy department in daily operations, including intakes, follow-ups, and discharges. You will assist with preparation, documentation, and distribution of patient medications to ensure high-quality service for physicians and patients.

The role requires EMR documentation experience and a California Pharmacy Technician License. CPhT is preferred; at least 1 year of general pharmacy practice is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with documenting in an electronic medical record (EMR) and competency in Microsoft Office.
• California Pharmacy Technician License (TCH) - CA State Board of Pharmacy - REQUIRED
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacist and pharmacy department, including initial intakes, follow-ups and discharges.
• Perform technical tasks involved in preparation, documentation and distribution of patient medications.
• Supports front end and clinical procedures within the pharmacy department to ensure quality service.
