Job summary

Sharp HealthCare's Centralized Pharmacy in San Diego is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to support daily operations across the pharmacy department. Responsibilities include initial intakes, follow-ups, discharges, and assisting pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical services that support the mission and quality of care.

Required qualifications include a California Pharmacy Technician License (TCH) and experience documenting in an EMR with Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting in an electronic medical record (EMR) and competency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacist and pharmacy department and maintain quality of service to physicians and patients.
• Supports front end and clinical procedures within the pharmacy department including initial intakes, follow-ups, and discharges as necessary.
• Performs technical tasks involved in the preparation, documentation and distribution of patient medications.
