Job summary

CVS Health in Vernon, CT is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in dispensing medications safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional patient care. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help manage inventory and patient interactions across the store.

This role requires compliance with state pharmacy laws, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ongoing certification/licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If state board does not address minimum education, high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate dispensing.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-focused service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Perform basic inventory tasks, including stocking, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team and management to support patient health.
• Support immunizations and on-site clinic services where permitted by law.
