Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription services and compassionate customer care in our local store.

You will follow SOPs, assist pharmacists, handle inventory, immunizations support where allowed, and maintain patient privacy while upholding compliance with state boards.

This role offers flexible scheduling, a pathway to additional training, and a benefits package for eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure/certification).
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks as needed.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate pills, days supply, and labels for prescriptions.
• Problem Resolution: address patient or colleague issues appropriately.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, stand for long periods.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
