Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Retail locations. You will support pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and deliver friendly, patient-centered service in a fast-paced store environment.

Follow SOPs, comply with state board regulations, and maintain accuracy in dispensing, inventory, and patient privacy. You may travel across the market stores to cover shifts as needed, bringing empathy and teamwork to a caring

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice.
• Minimum age 16 if required by state board.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; assist with immunizations and services as allowed.
• Complete basic inventory activities and cycle counts; returns-to-stocks and stocking duties as directed.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies; protect patient privacy and security.
• Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowed by law and training.
