Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service. In our retail stores, you’ll help patients and colleagues while following SOPs to ensure quality care.

You’ll complete required training and meet state licensure requirements, with opportunities to assist immunizations and other services where allowed. This part-time role includes weekend shifts and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy/retail setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and labeling for safety and accuracy.
• Assist patients with empathy and provide caring service; support immunizations and other services where allowed.
• Assist with inventory, returns-to-stocks, and cycle counts as directed.
• Be flexible to travel to stores as needed by the business.
• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies to ensure safety and privacy.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
