PharmcareUSA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our overnight team!

We are seeking an energetic, Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to become part of our team. Experience with insurance, prior authorization, and adjudication preferred. Data entry skills are a must! This position is specifically for the overnight shift, 7days on, 7 days off.

• Receive in-coming phone calls; research issues, problem solve and provide exceptional customer service
• Perform basic administrative duties such as scanning, filing and typing
• Maintain excellent attendance to schedules; stay on task
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Process all charges generated by the department; work from the medication profile, individual charge cards and floor stock forms
• Type all correspondence for the department
• Establish and maintain office and general files for the department

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
• Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
• Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others with or without correction;
• This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping;
• Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
• Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
