Tarrytown Expocare LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Lawrence, KS order entry team. The role focuses on entering new and renewed orders, adjudicating insurance claims, and handling order exceptions onsite in our Lawrence facility.

Qualifications include KS Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB, 1 year of order entry experience, and strong communication skills. The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth in a long-term care pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in order entry in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Can meet order deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Is available for occasional overtime.
• Must possess a KS State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• PTCB is required.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC is preferred.
• Type an average of 60 wpm.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
• Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
