PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - ORDER ENTRY (3rd-Shift LTC)

Position Details

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am

Compensation: Competitive pay with a $1,000 signing bonus*

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, resolution, and association of prescriptions in the pharmacy system
• Accurately enter medication orders, process new prescriptions and refills
• Handle customer inquiries proactively in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, policies, and patient protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered license in the state of practice (Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred; certification not required for Illinois licensed before 2008)
• Experience in pharmacy order-entry or long-term care pharmacy
• Strong math, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
• Availability every other weekend and 3 holidays per year
