PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - ORDER ENTRY (2nd Shift - LTC)

Join us to apply for the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - ORDER ENTRY (2nd Shift - LTC) role at Forum Extended Care Services Pharmacy.

Position Details

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm)

Schedule: Every other weekend, 3 holidays per year required

Responsibilities
  • Manage receipt, resolution, and association of prescriptions in the pharmacy system.
  • Enter medication orders and process prescriptions accurately.
  • Handle customer inquiries proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs.
Qualifications
  • Current unencumbered license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (certification not required for Illinois licensed technicians before 2008).
  • Experience in pharmacy order-entry or long-term care pharmacy.
  • Strong math, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
