Consonus Pharmacy in Vacaville, CA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry to accurately enter new and refill orders, handle incoming fax and phone communications, and deliver outstanding patient care.

The ideal candidate is a High School Graduate with an active Pharmacy Technician license in the state, has strong computer and telephone communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced setting focused on long-term care patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Enter new or refill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication.

• Properly handle order exceptions (e.g., refill too soon, invalid orders).
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively to leadership and peers.

As the Order Entry Technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
• Handle incoming fax and telephone communication
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers
