PharMerica is hiring full-time Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians in Fresno, CA to support our closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living communities. Join a dedicated group that values accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with pharmacists.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting with knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and recognize medications.
• Detail oriented, goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system accurately.
• Conduct basic drug calculations and dosage conversions.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; follow up in POS systems.
• Ensure Medicaid claim regulations are followed and processed accordingly.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service aligned with company values.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed by management.

Rotating Schedule

Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm / 1:30pm - 10:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Every other weekend & Holiday Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 5:30pm / 11:00am - 7:30pm

Responsibilities

Responsible for accurately entering and processing prescription orders in a closed-door pharmacy environment, ensuring patient information, medications, dosages, and directions are entered correctly. Collaborates with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription discrepancies, manage high-volume order processing, and support timely medication delivery to long-term care facilities.

As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician you will
