Munson Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee (Entry-level) for a full-time Day Shift position in Michigan. You will support pharmacists by preparing and distributing medications and helping maintain inventory.
The Pharmacy Technician Trainee Program offers on‑the‑job learning; healthcare experience is preferred. Schedule is 7am–3pm or 8am–4pm. Vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and annual flu is required or exempted for medical/religious reasons.
Licensed pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in performing patient care activities including preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the medication inventory, and supporting clinical documentation related to medication therapies. Licensed pharmacy technicians are part of the first line to providing safe high‑quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., preparing IV admixtures, using a computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying of light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, unit‑dose cassettes, and IV solutions, and stooping or kneeling; walking or standing for long periods of time (4–8 hours) is often necessary; must be able to physically operate the equipment used for the job.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
