***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow-up care required.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain knowledge of new developments, policies, and efforts.
  • Assist with managing day-to-day activities and prioritizing tasks.
  • Operate personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
  • Comply with all applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights for patients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Dispense prescription drugs and healthcare products, and perform pharmacy-related functions.
  • Assist pharmacists in developing extended clinical pharmacy roles, such as independent prescribing by site Medical Directors and licensed staff. Ensure the security of prescription drugs and control pharmacy inventory.
Qualifications:
  • Completed a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate’s degree.
  • Two years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
  • Maintain current CPR certification.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months in the past year.
  • US citizen or permanent resident residing in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work is typically in an interior/office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
