Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our outpatient MAT clinics in the United States. The role emphasizes accurate dosing, patient verification, and strict log maintenance in a secure dosing window.

Education includes a High School Diploma or GED and Pharmacy Technician certification. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to impact patient recovery daily.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Write patient name, dose and takeout number on the log and the patient signature log.
• Review each patient's flags prior to dosing.
• Verify dose against dose level and flags to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure patient signs log prior to dosing.
• Check ID or verify digital photo in software matches patient.
• Maintain security of Methadone at dosing window and enforce lock box policy.
• Ensure proper ordering of pharmacy supplies and maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy.
• Keep track of and manage returned bottles from previous dosing.

Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician

• Write patients name, dose, and number of takeout on corresponding patient's signature log and on proper log (liquid of tablets)
  
• Review each patient's flags prior to dosing
  
• Ensure accuracy of patient's dose be verifying against "dose level" and flags.
  
• Ensure each patient signs log prior to dosing
  
• Check ID or confirm digital photograph in software matches patient
  
• Security of Methadone at dosing window
  
• Enforce "lock box" policy
  
• Enforce and check for patient names and dates on returned bottles from previous dosing
  
• Ensure adequate ordering of pharmacy supplies
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy and supplies
  
• Utilize appropriate sink for cleaning of pharmacy dispensing equipment and alert Director when
  
• Leaving "secure" area with dispensing equipment
  
• Ensure smooth workflow
  

Education and Experience requirements

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
  
• Pharmacy Technician certification required
  

Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 5:00am-1:00pm
