Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support outpatient MAT clinics. The role involves recording patient names, doses, and takeouts, reviewing dosing flags, and ensuring accurate dose verification and log documentation at the dosing window.

Typical shift is 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday to Friday. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and Pharmacy Technician certification. Medical, dental, and vision benefits, PTO, and a robust benefits package are offered as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Write patient name, dose, and amount of takeout on the patient’s signature log and on the proper log.
• Review each patient’s flags prior to dosing.
• Verify dose level and flags to ensure accuracy of patient doses.
• Ensure each patient signs the log prior to dosing.
• Check ID or verify digital photograph in software against the patient.

_ Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician _

• Write patients name, dose, and number of takeout on corresponding patient’s signature log and on proper log (liquid of tablets)

• Review each patient’s flags prior to dosing

• Ensure accuracy of patient’s dose be verifying against “dose level” and flags.

• Ensure each patient signs log prior to dosing

• Check ID or confirm digital photograph in software matches patient

• Security of Methadone at dosing window

• Enforce “lock box” policy

• Enforce and check for patient names and dates on returned bottles from previous dosing

• Ensure adequate ordering of pharmacy supplies

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pharmacy and supplies

• Utilize appropriate sink for cleaning of pharmacy dispensing equipment and alert Director when

• Leaving “secure” area with dispensing equipment

• Ensure smooth workflow

_ Education and Experience requirements _

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.

• Pharmacy Technician certification required

• Monday-Friday; 5:00am-1:00pm
