UW Health in Madison is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide multi-faceted support to pharmacists and clinic staff across city sites, delivering excellent customer service to patients taking home medications in a fast-paced health care environment.

You will process claims, help patients navigate insurance, work hands-on with medications, and have opportunities to advance through the Technician Career Ladder into areas like Remote Dispensing and PA Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum - HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred - Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
• Minimum - Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration.
• Preferred - Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Six months experience preferred or related training.

Responsabilités

• Provide multi-faceted support to pharmacists and clinic staff at multiple pharmacy sites across the city of Madison.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients with take-home medications in a fast-paced health care environment.
• Process claims and help patients navigate complex insurance issues.
• Work hands-on with medications of all kinds.
• Explore opportunities to advance through the Technician Career Ladder (Remote Dispensing, Tech-Check-Tech, etc.)
