UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, audits and financial transactions, while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of pharmacy tech experience; completion of an accredited training program is preferred; Wisconsin registration upon hire is required. This 100% FTE role offers day/evening shifts with weekend rotations and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Six months experience as a pharmacy technician or related training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain pharmacy records.
• Demonstrate teamwork as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team.
