Qualifications

• Two years as a licensed pharmacy technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute assignments and handle higher complexity tasks as directed by the pharmacist.
• Triage patient pharmacy care issues by phone and in person to improve outcomes.
• Assist with continuous quality improvement activities for the pharmacy team.
• Greet patients and providers, answering questions or escalating as needed.
• Verify patient identity before releasing medications while handling cash transactions.
• Assist in training peer technicians, pharmacists, and students.
• Contribute to inventory management processes.
• Process prescription orders and adjudicate insurance claims.
