GRX Holdings, LLC is a fast-growing, family-oriented group of independent pharmacies seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician (up to 40 hours per week) to work at our Long-Term Care Facility Medicap Pharmacy in Indianola.

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician to process and fill prescriptions. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, in accordance with regulations, with technical functions such as measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals. Customer satisfaction is key; we value technicians who are energetic, motivated, able to multitask, and excel in customer service.

We offer a highly competitive pay rate based on experience, with no nights, Sundays, or holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling. Benefits include a 401(k) with company match, employee discounts, and other perks. Full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.

Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. While the position is listed as a "Certified Pharmacy Technician," applications are encouraged from both certified candidates and those without experience. Compensation for non-certified candidates will be considered based on experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and procedures including register performance, security, and confidentiality
• Receive prescriptions and verify their validity
• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims
• Select medicines and measure dosages
• Sort, stock, label medication, and monitor inventory
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned
• Comply with security measures and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
