Job summary

Woodmark Pharmacy of NY is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support long term care and assisted living residents. The role offers regular full-time or part-time options and varying day/evening shifts with weekend availability.

The technician will fill prescriptions, handle labeling, inventory management, and ensure timely processing of orders. Strong English communication and adherence to policies are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State Certification preferred; National Certification a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions with computer-generated labels and completes packing and ancillary labels.
• Removes labels from printers and retrieves appropriate drugs for orders.
• Places products in the dock space or cycle area for pharmacist verification.
• Receives and restocks inventory from wholesalers or manufacturers.
• Uses TCGRX machines to fill cycle and new admit orders.
• Understands the Dashboard to know orders to be delivered.
• Bags and totes facility orders for drivers as required.
• Refills emergency boxes, antibiotic, and hydration totes promptly.
• Keeps work area clean and removes HIPAA information daily.
• Checks for outdates and returns items for credit or destruction.
