Job summary

SpecialtyRx, a Long-Term Care pharmacy, seeks a licensed OH Pharmacy Technician (or trainee) to join our Columbus team in a full-time role. You will assist with daily drug handling and support operations in a collaborative setting.

Under supervision, you will prepack, package, restock, and maintain pharmacy standards while supporting floor stock and workflow. Shifts include 8am-4:30pm and every other weekend, with a night option as well.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed OH Pharmacy Technician or trainee required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
