Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to work under the pharmacy manager, performing technical duties for preparing and dispensing medications, and leading the pharmacy technicians. You will train staff and support immunization efforts under the pharmacist on duty.

You will handle prescription processing, provide excellent customer service, and model strong professional behavior while ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license in Ohio
• Immunization certification required
• CPR certification
• 3 years of experience as a nationally certified pharmacy technician

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions: data entry, counting medication, and selling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter and on the phone
• Lead by example in attendance, dress code, service, and work ethic; follow policies and procedures
• Train new technicians and retrain current staff under the pharmacy manager
• Administer immunizations under supervision of the pharmacist on duty
• Perform administrative tasks within applicable rules and laws under the pharmacy manager
• Carry out other duties as assigned
