Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to support inpatient pharmacy operations at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Responsibilities include managing Pharmacy Technicians and Specialists, developing training programs, and ensuring efficient scheduling and operations within the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in health care related field required within 18 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered as Pharmacy Technician with the NCBOP.
• CPhT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all Pharmacy Technician roles and supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Specialists.
• Precepts new technicians and ensures completion of orientation items.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager to develop, review, and implement training programs.
• Develop and monitor reports to identify deficiencies and implement improvements.
• Provide feedback on attendance, punctuality and performance.
• Inspect and maintain outpatient prescription system.
• Prepare and revise Pharmacy Technician schedules.
• Assist in daily duties including staff reallocation to handle workload.
• Complete annual evaluations for technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
