STAFF TODAY is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Lancaster, CA. Local pay is $21.45/hour (W2). The role involves assisting pharmacists, processing prescriptions, inventory management, and patient service in a professional healthcare setting.

Qualifications include a valid CA license/certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of related experience. BLS and other compliance docs may be required. Benefits and referral rewards are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
• Additional certifications may be required.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications.
• Receive and process prescription orders accurately.
• Measure, count, label, and package medications according to established procedures.
• Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Process insurance claims and assist with prescription billing when applicable.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure medications are stored properly and within expiration guidelines.
• Provide courteous customer service while directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work environment.
