Job summary

Medix is hiring an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for a growing Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Lancaster, PA. This is a full-time role with a rotating schedule, including weekends, and a pay rate of $20–$22 per hour.

The technician will process about 150 orders daily, enter prescription data, handle ~15 calls daily, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment while delivering excellent customer service to client facilities. A PA registration and data-entry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Previous pharmacy data entry experience is preferred.
• Healthcare customer service experience will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

We are currently hiring for an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician for a growing Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Lancaster, PA. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking to grow their pharmacy career.

Location: Lancaster, PA 17601

Pay: $20–$22/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, rotating shifts and weekends

Schedule

This position follows a rotating schedule with a combination of opening, mid, and closing shifts:

• Opening: 9:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM
• Mid: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Closing: 12:30/1:00 PM–9:00/9:30 PM
• 1:00–9:30 PM is preferred

Candidates should generally expect to work approximately 2 closing shifts per week, or 1 closing shift and 1 mid shift per week.

The position also includes a rotating weekend schedule, with weekend coverage approximately once every 4 weeks.
