Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support our mental health and specialty pharmacy services at Genoa Healthcare, a part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, clerical duties, and ensuring compliance under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location & Hours

Location: 119 Walnut Street, Suite 500, Johnstown, PA 15901

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm EST, with a lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:00pm EST

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Fill prescriptions and prepare them for verification under supervision
• Manage pharmacy supplies and inventory
• Process medication orders from wholesalers
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy compliance with federal and state regulations
• Perform clerical tasks related to pharmacy operations
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients

Qualifications

Required:

• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
• Ability to use personal vehicle for deliveries if needed

Preferred:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience with pharmacy data entry and prescription processing

Compensation & Benefits
