Summary: This posting will fill multiple positions. The Pharmacy Technician IV will work under the supervision of the pharmacist to provide excellent customer service to patients receiving specialty medications. This technician will be responsible for the management of the dispensing functions for specialty medications and monthly outreach calls to assess the need for refills on medications and check on the overall wellbeing of the assigned patients. The Pharmacy Technician IV will also be responsible for managing prior authorizations and financial assistance for assigned specialty patients as well as serve as a role model and assist in the training of staff. All clinical issues will be referred to the pharmacist.
