Qualifications

Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Experience with prescription filling, IV preparation, packaging or pharmacy operations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills and ability to enter prescription and billing information.

Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Enter prescription information into the computer system and assist with reimbursement processing.
Prepackage medications for dispensing per standards and regulations.
Assist the Pharmacist with final prescription checking and packaging.
Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating medications and supplies.
Maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.
Assist with inventory and inventory control activities.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Ensure equipment is calibrated, safe, and clean.
