Job summary

Qualifications

• CA State Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: preferred in CA and OR.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls medications from stock and matches medications with the label generated by the pharmacist.
• Maintains floor stock in nursing areas; rotates stock and handles deliveries.
• Prepares IV medication products in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Checks in orders from wholesalers; distributes stock and handles paperwork.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
