Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in Summerville, SC is hiring an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital's unit dose distribution and IV admixture programs under supervision.

Under the pharmacist's guidance, you will prepare IV meds, assist with data entry, maintain records, and help ensure accuracy and safety in medication handling. No travel, no prior experience required; licensure or certification must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• PharmTech Pharmacy Technician License, or CPhT Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform unit dose distribution and IV admixture duties.
• Prepare intravenous medications including chemotherapy, hyper-alimentations and antibiotics.
• Maintain confidential reports and data in the computer system; assist with supply requests.
