St. Charles Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing, labeling, storing, and distributing IV and other medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.

Under pharmacist supervision, responsibilities include documenting billing, stocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. The position may be deployed to multiple worksites to meet staffing needs, with a relief, variable shift pattern.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Preferred: CPhT license and national certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Preferred: Six months hospital pharmacy experience or related field.

Responsabilités

• Prepare IV or other medications using aseptic technique.
• Maintain accurate documentation, billing, labeling, compounding, and packaging.
• Obtain pharmacist verification and deliver medications accurately and timely.
• Prepare and handle chemotherapy and blood products following safety protocols.
• Stock, inspect, and clean equipment; manage inventory and stock rotations.
