Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparation and delivery of medications. The candidate should be flexible and able to work as part of a team, with basic computer skills and the ability to learn pharmacy software.

The role involves maintaining records, inventories, and orderly dispensing areas, ensuring safe patient care, and supporting procurement and stock management on a hospital pharmacy floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a retail Pharmacy.
• Hours may vary; weekends/holidays/nights/on-call shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining records and drug inventories.
• Maintain dispensing and store room areas in neat, clean, and stocked condition for safe operation of the pharmacy department.
• Assist with inventory levels and procurement of medications for patient care.
• Monitor inventory for outdated products monthly.
• Perform inspections on units to ensure adequate stock and dated products are available.
• Monitor temperatures and outdates of all MDVs on units.
• Monitor kits and ensure cartfill is completed timely and accurately.
