Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, FL seeks a Pharmacy Technician to maintain inventory, stock shelves, and deliver medications to units. You will ensure timely restocking for surgeries and code carts, and complete charge sheets while upholding accuracy in controlled substances.

The role includes answering calls promptly, restocking supplies, and notifying leadership about stock-out risks. Pay range listed is from $18.32 to $29.31 per hour, with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent required.
• Must be currently enrolled in College of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains centralized and decentralized pharmacy inventory, assesses par levels, stocks shelves, orders supplies.
• Delivers products to units so they arrive on time; replenishes drugs used during surgery and code carts.
• Completes charge sheets for each patient and handles controlled substances with accuracy and accountability.
• Answers calls promptly and courteously, prioritizing to forward calls appropriately.
• Restocks boxes, kits and code cart trays; completes deliveries and refills quickly to minimize time out of department.
• Notifies leadership and buyers about chronic stock-out needs.
