Job summary

Ideal School of Allied Health Care is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician Instructor to train and mentor students in our Pharmacy Technician Program. The instructor will provide classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and guidance to prepare students for certification and entry-level positions in the pharmacy field.

Part-time role with responsibilities that include developing course materials, delivering lectures, guiding lab activities, and preparing students for the PTCE exam.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CPhT certification from PTCB or NHA.
• Background in retail, hospital, or compounding pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course materials aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Teach pharmacy skills, dosage calculations, and law.
• Lead hands-on lab activities including compounding and inventory management.
• Prepare students for PTCE certification and entry-level roles.
• Assess progress with exams, projects, and demonstrations.
• Mentor students and provide career guidance.
• Maintain records: attendance, grades, and compliance.
• Stay current with industry trends and certification changes.
• Collaborate with administration to ensure program success.
