Job summary

LMH Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with timely and accurate medication preparation and distribution. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance and high-quality customer service in a hospital setting.

Eligible technicians should maintain inventory, assist with sterile compounding, and ensure safe delivery to patient care areas. A Kansas Registration is required, with a plan to obtain national certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration with Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
• Plan to complete national certification as set forth in the Kansas Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist health care providers and patients in person or via phone by responding to questions or requests and triaging appropriate inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory according to system procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patient care areas.
• Prepare sterile intravenous compounds and maintain clean room according to regulatory requirements.
• Package medications with a barcode for accurate distribution in automated dispensing cabinets and upon administration to patient.
• Manage the inventory of automated dispensing cabinets.
• Maintain assigned inspection area according to The Joint Commission regulations.
