Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PHT - Registered Pharmacy Tech certification/registration required.
• CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician or PHARMINT - Pharmacist Intern.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, dispense medications under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Operate Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC) and ensure accuracy of medications.
• Maintain aseptic technique for IV admixtures and comply with USP standards.
• Repackaging, label accuracy, and proper dispensing to units and floors.
• Assist with inventory control, all procedures and governance by Georgia Board of Pharmacy rules.
