Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in our retail locations. You will assist pharmacists, help patients with prescriptions, and ensure safety and accuracy in dispensing while building trusting relationships with customers.

You may participate in immunization services and other patient health initiatives, subject to state licensure and company policy. Training and certification requirements apply, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.
• Completing basic inventory activities and responsible for stock management tasks as directed by leadership.
• Volunteering to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
• Delivering additional patient health care services where allowable by law and trained.
