Job summary

CVS Health in Illinois seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams and deliver safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. You will follow SOPs, assist patients, and help maintain a compassionate, compliant in-store pharmacy operation.

You’ll complete required state registrations, licensing, and on-the-job training, with opportunities to administer immunizations and expand clinical knowledge. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, and ensure label accuracy for patient safety.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues; active listening.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute totals, days’ supply, and bottle counts for prescriptions.
