Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service in a retail setting. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help ensure efficient workflow and a caring patient experience.

You will complete required training, maintain regulatory compliance, and adapt to shifts across a market of stores while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• Must be at least 16 years old if no minimum age is specified.
• High school diploma or equivalent or active enrollment required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Provide friendly customer service and support a positive patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy for patient safety.
• Perform basic inventory tasks as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Support immunizations and other services where permitted by law.
